When you run the hops gun, some sediment/yeast will accumulate on the candle. If this happens, you will see an increase in stress. Therefore, before using the hop gun, you'd better discharge the possible amount of sediment from the bottom of the can in advance.
As we said before, this is why you should run the Hop Gun as soon as possible. As the pump runs at full speed, turbulence helps prevent candles from clogging. Make sure that the fireworks monitor you buy has a pressure relief valve (PRV); This is a security feature. This means that if the pressure is too high, the PRV will open automatically.
This is not ideal, because it means that beer will be ejected from the top, but it is better than an over pressured hop gun. If this happens, turn off the pump and wait for the pressure to drop. Then, your choice is to try again, or try pushing the beer back to unblock the candles.

After connect with the fermenters hop entrance port and drain outlet,we suggest run the hops gun at a faster speed of the pump. Recirculation operates under pressure. to create a good vortex to get the maximum aroma from the hop particles.
